Through the use of vibrant, intense colors he creates impressionistic paintings of recognizable locations in Chicago including the Sears Tower, Chicago Water Tower Place, The Art Institute and other memorable scenes. By using highly saturated color and whimsical brushstrokes, Matt is able to create a rhythm in his paintings that truly captures the energy of the city.
